Turning Pages and Breaking Cages invites you into a soulful, year-long experience where personal growth becomes both inspiring and deeply doable. Each month, we gather around the wisdom of a new inspiring author, unpacking the lessons, exploring what resonates, and gently releasing the inner barriers that no longer serve us. Through grounded mindfulness practices, meaningful discussion, and guided journaling, you will learn to turn insight into action and courage into daily ritual. If you are craving clarity, connection, and a year of steady, supported transformation, this is your next chapter.

                                                    What to Expect

  • Monthly Online or In Person class is held on the second Monday of every month at 7:00 pm.  In person location is Shea Tree Wellness 1239 Manahan Avenue Winnipeg
  • A new book from a different inspiring author each month.  Each book has been carefully selected with mindfulness, positive psychology and spirituality as key components.  Selected books are pictured below
  • A full summary of each book (no need to read the book prior to class unless you want to)
  • Journal prompts to integrate and process the material
  • Guided meditation intended to further process the message
  • Discussion around the key concepts and how to apply to daily life
  • Community and connection with a like-minded group of women
  • Oracle card pull and intention setting each month
  • Classes can be attended in person or online 
  • All classes are recorded and can be watched at any time in case you have to miss the live class

Wendy Malko

Wendy is a certified Positive Psychology Coach, Mindfulness Facilitator and Intuitive Energy Healing Practitioner.  She is also a Qualified Instructor of Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training through the Mindful Eating Training Institute.  Wendy is a strong advocate for practicing mindfulness as she has seen the many benefits in her own life.  Mindfulness has not only helped her gain the tools she needed to manage her own anxiety, but also helped her tune into her intuitive abilities.  Her passion for helping others reduce stress and anxiety and create a life they love is evident in her private sessions and group workshops and classes.
